Lunch

This is the LUNCH I enjoy most days, not everyday, just most days:

I make my own salad from things I find at local markets.
  1. Lettuce (Romaine and Herbs, mostly—a few ounces);
  2. Red onion (1/4 onion)
  3. Tomato (vine ripe, small)
  4. Pine Nuts (2 tablespoons)

I, also, make my own dressing out of:
  1. Lemon (One large lemon squeezed, including the pulp);
  2. Mustard (Dijon, a few tablespoons)
  3. Pepper (from a pepper grinder--teaspoon or more)

To drink:

Chia with Soy Milk with one teaspoon of local Honey
As a kind of dessert, I occasionally include:
  1. Oat bread (one slice);
  2. Havarti Cheese (a few strips sliced onto bread)
These are simple items that I have discovered that my palette finds pleasing. There are thousands of possibilities. You simply need to experiment to find your own favorites. I think my dressing has other benefits besides tasting delicious and being nearly calorie free.
